Many of our LLL family were privileged to know little Michael Payavla. The Board is pleased to announce that Michael's family has agreed to allow us to rename Field 7 in honor of Michael's memory. Sid McArthur
Volunteer of the Year Award
In honor of the time and dedication that Sid McArthur devoted to Lamar Little League, the Board is pleased to announce the creation of the Sid McArthur Volunteer of the Year Award.

The 2009 recipient is Mr. Randy Hayes.

2008 recipients were: Gary Ballone, Lynette Dostal, Debbie Page and Tracy Pruitt.

Lamar Little League will be putting on 3 separate free two hour clinics on hitting (February 6) and pitching and catching (February 13). For more information click here.

TEAM MOM MEETING!

There will be a mandatory team mom meeting at George Park in the Board Room on Thursday night, February 11 at 6:30pm. If you are going to be the team mom for your child's team, you must attend this meeting to pick up some important team information. If you can not attend, please send someone in your place. ALL TEAMS MUST HAVE A REPRESENTATIVE AT THE MEETING!!

LLL Walk of Fame Bricks
The walk of fame has been started with bricks being installed in front of the concession stand. If you would like to order a brick, click here for the order form and turn into your Team Mom with payment, or click here to pay ONLINE.

For the safety of our children, NO SKATEBOARDS (OR RIP STICKS) ARE ALLOWED AT THE BALLPARK!
