The League of Champions is a division of Lamar Little League
specifically designed to allow children with mental and/or physical
challenges the full benefit of participating in a team sport tailored to
their ability.
LLL’s League of
Champions is derived from the Challenger Division of Little League
Baseball, where boys and girls ages 5 – 18 are offered the opportunity
to participate in an organized game of baseball in their community.
Playing with the same equipment on the same fields, League of Champions
participants will experience the joys of pulling together as a team,
being cheered by the crowd, and earning awards for their efforts and
achievements.
We hope you
will find most of your questions answered in the pages linked by
the menu above. If you need any additional information,
please contact
Stephanie Burns or
Ed
Burns. We will be looking for many volunteers
(both children and adults) to make this program a success.
We thank you in advance for sharing your love of the game with
these very special children.
Let's ALL
Play Ball!
