We have
been playing here at Lamar Little League for the past five
years, during which I have managed or coached in both the
spring and fall leagues. Our program has certainly improved
during this time, and I believe there are still more things
we can do to make this a better league for players of all
abilities, their parents and others who come to enjoy our
facility and the game of baseball. Playing and coaching
here are more than baseball gear, some fields, and wins and
losses. Instead, we are here for the enhancement of the
game and each other by helping the children become better
players as well as good and decent citizens and by working
together as coaches to become better leaders and role
models.
I am at a
point in my career where I have the time and the desire to
give back to the league and look forward to the challenges
that serving on the board of directors has to offer.

I would like to volunteer my time for the kids,

game of baseball and watch the excitement in their eyes as they
succeed.

I have the time and
effort to help the league in many ways. Securing more
sponsors, organization and communication skills are my focus. I
would like to take up the equipment manager position when Dean's
time is up. I have helped him whenever he has asked.
Public
Relations Director would also be a position I can excel in. I
can add more public attention to the league through my contacts
with the local media and sports organizations. I want the league
to continue to grow, allowing more young people to enjoy our
great National Pastime with positive memories they will cherish
the rest of their life. Thank You

Dimitry shows enthusiasm for the game of
baseball and is a solid role model for the kids he coaches. He
has been both team manager and assistant coach 4 years. He never
gives up on a child but instead works with them to build their
confidence and the skills needed to compete. He always has their
best interests at heart as well at LLL. |

I have been a team
manager at LLL for the past 10 years. I have two sons currently
playing, one in the Jr division and one in AA. Over the past 10
years, I have had a tremendous experience being part of this
organization. Watching kids in the LLL program grow from T-Ball
players to respectable young men lets you know LLL is not only
about baseball, but preparing the boys for life. I would like
the opportunity to use my time and talent to help guide the
future of LLL and maintain the positive impact we have on the
children in the program by serving on the LLL Board.

Tracy Pruitt |
Tournament Director |
The last year has
been a learning experience that has been very special for me.
Being a part of this league has been a blessing for my entire
family, and being able to give back has been very rewarding.
Through many trials and tribulations as Tournament Director I
feel that I have learned much and am more prepared and able to
help make the experience at Lamar Little League a rewarding and
special time in each players as well as their families time
here. |

Having being part
of Lamar Little League for the past 5 yrs I have coached &
volunteered my time and want to continue to help the league
grow. I feel I can help keep the league moving in the "right"
direction with a "no agenda" approach by doing what's best for
the kids and the league. I honestly feel the Board has changed
its approach and attitude and I'm ready to promote/serve the
League. |

I have been a coach
or manager for LLL for the last 5 years. Prior to that I was a
coach for girls soccer at Lamar Soccer Club for 8 years. So I
have alot of experience in youth athletics for the past 13
years. It has really been a blessing to have quality Lamar
organization(s) which have helped the raising of our three
children. Through the 13 years we have been the recipient of all
the hard work put in by the volunteers of the organizations and
feel that it is time to give a little back. I have often been
asked why I strive to put the time in for the kids. My only
answer is that it is because someone did it for me when I was
young and I just need to return the favor. I realize that our
family will be done with Little League in the next 2-3 years,
but would like to give whatever time and talents I possess to
not only continue in the fine tradition that past leadership has
given us, but to further develop and promote our league to the
envy of other Little Leagues in the area. My opinion of Little
League is "that if it does not benefit the boys and girls of our
league, then don't do it or say it ". |

I have been
involved with Lamar Little League for the past 5 years as a
coach, sponsor and volunteer. In addition, I have coached other
youth sports such as basketball and football in our area.
Through my years at Lamar, teaching baseball has been secondary
to what they have taught me and I believe it is now time to give
back. LLL is an excellent organization for our children and I
believe that I would be an asset to help further Lamar’s future
goals. This past year I helped Darryl Rock with fundraising
projects and am currently assisting him in reaching out to other
area League’s so we can bring awareness to Lamar’s tournaments
so others can enjoy our beautiful facilities and bring in more
revenue. The children are the ones that benefit most from an
involved and informed Board and I would like the opportunity to
further enhance our League for their sake and those that follow.

Larry would make an
excellent board member at Lamar Little League. He has coached
and managed for the last several years, is great with kids and
loves the game of baseball. He has professional baseball
experience and would bring a great deal of knowledge and
integrity to the board. |

Anthony Eppolito |

Anthony would
welcome the opportunity to volunteer his time and knowledge to
the league. He would make an excellent addition to the Board,
especially from a financial perspective. He loves the game of
baseball wants to be a part of the future success of Lamar
Little League. |
