| 1 -20 pitches | 0 days rest | |
| 21-35 pitches | 1 day of rest | |
| 36-50 pitches | 2 days of rest | |
| 51-65 pitches | 3 days of rest | |
| 66 + pitches | 4 days of rest | |
| Max pitches allowed | 85 in any game. (The pitcher may finish pitching to a batter if the 85th pitch is thrown during an at-bat, but must come out before the next batter comes to the plate.) | |
Pitcher/Catcher Rule: A pitcher who delivers 41 or more pitches in a game cannot play the position of catcher for the remainder of that day. (LLI Rule VI(c)Note 1.) |
