Lamar Little League is excited to announce the 2026 annual Blue Gray Tournament. We are currently in the process of planning the tournament for the end of the Spring 2026 Little League season.
This is not a tournament for select teams. This tournament is held for kids engaged in Little League who either did not make their league's All-Star team or for those kids who are essentially their league's All Stars for which Little League International does not have All Star tournaments. All games will be conducted under the "Special Games" provision (Section IX) of Little League Baseball; therefore, the Little League Rule Book (aka "the green book") will be the prevailing standards for rules and regulations.
Hosting Games
In 2025, we had 100+ teams from the Greater Houston Area in the 7U-12U divisions participate in the tournament. The only cost for the teams is the cost of umpires so that the host leagues do not incur any costs; for every game a team plays, there will be an umpire charge that is split between the 2 teams ($45/Coach Pitch & $60/Kid Pitch per team per game).
In order to facilitate a tournament of this size, we will need several other leagues to help host. This is a great event for the kids so please step up to help host games in this event and get your Little Leagues involved. If your Little League is willing to host, please let us know as soon as possible. If your league hosted last year, your help would be appreciated again. Team Registration
If you would like to register a Little League team, please complete the registration form for each team. If the team manager information is not yet known, then please simply use a league representative's name and email address for the team registration entry. As we get closer, we will follow-up with the league to determine the appropriate contact for each individual team.
Please note: All teams will be required to submit a complete roster including player names and DOBs. Each roster will require League President signature confirming all participants on the roster played in their league for the Spring 2026 season and are not members of a little league All Star roster.
